The Poppenhusen Institute

The Poppenhusen Institute in College Point is an individually designated City landmark and National Register property. The Institute has served the College Point community since 1868, and continues as a community cultural center today. HPF provided bridge financing to be repaid by a public grant to fund the installation of a modern fire protection system in this historic community center.
