Since the Conservancy’s founding, our programs have provided more than $30 million in grants and low-interest loans, accompanied by countless hours of hands-on technical consulting, revitalizing neighborhoods and preserving the character of our City for future generations.
The Historic Properties Fund offers low-interest loans and project management assistance to owners of historic residential, non-profit, religious, and commercial properties throughout the City mostly in low- to moderate-income communities. Since 1982, the Historic Properties Fund has assisted over 200 buildings. It is one of the largest, private revolving loan funds in the country used exclusively for historic preservation.
The Queens Historic Properties Fund offers low-interest loans and project management assistance to owners of historic residential, non-profit, religious, and commercial buildings in Queens. The Queens Historic Properties Fund is a partnership between the New York Landmarks Conservancy and the Queens Historical Society. The Conservancy manages the operations of the Fund.
