703 East 156th Street in the Longwood section of the Bronx is now an 8-unit, low-income condominium after an extensive renovation by Habitat for Humanity-New York City. It is a handsome Romanesque Revival structure built in the 1880’s. A CVF grant of $28,000 was used to build a new cornice to wrap around this prominent corner property.
