This house is one of five in an impressive row of grey brick and limestone buildings by Clarence True, one of the most prolific and competent architects to work on the Upper West Side and Harlem. This end building is entirely faced in limestone, with an ashlar base and quoins at the window that give this modestly sized building a grand air.

The building is partially vacant, and marked with the Fire Department’s box, with one diagonal slash indicating that the building has a roof but is unsound. It is owned by the City, which is relocating tenants, but has not yet commenced repair and restoration.
