Lucy G. Moses Preservation Awards for 2002

The Lucy G. Moses Awards for 2002 marked the 12th year the Conservancy has honored achievement and leadership in historic preservation. Over 100 “Lucies” have been bestowed upon 86 projects, 11 organizations, and 12 preservation leaders. The Conservancy’s recognition of excellence has become a prize coveted by all in the preservation community.


On Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the New York Public Library, the Conservancy added another nine projects, an organization, and an individual to this distinguished roster. They represented the best work done in the five boroughs of New York City, plus a leadership award for lifetime achievement.
