Living Landmarks Celebration 2012
More than 500 people attended the 19th annual “Living Landmarks Celebration” at The Plaza ballroom on November 8. It was the Conservancy’s most successful gala to date, raising more than one million dollars. The proceeds will help expand our Emergency Preservation Grant Program, which we are currently using to assist buildings damaged by Hurricane Sandy. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebration a wonderful success.

Each year, The New York Landmarks Conservancy recognizes New Yorkers who have made outstanding contributions to the City, honorees have ranged from entertainers to entrepreneurs. Civic leaders are honored with the special Lew Rudin Award for Outstanding Public Service, named after the late New York real estate magnate and philanthropist.
