A morning crowd of roughly 30 people turned out to hear Karen Ansis, manager of the Conservancy’s revolving loan fund for restoration work as well as other grant programs for nonprofit organizations, discuss neighborhood preservation initiatives and highlight recently completed projects at The Historic Districts Council’s “Coffee Talk” on Dec. 7 at Neighborhood Preservation Center in Manhattan.
The inquisitive group asked a variety of questions as the featured speaker detailed program guidelines and application procedures, how low-interest loans work, as well as other types of assistance available.
