The Conservancy was pleased to offer Professional Circle members an exclusive tour of Marble Collegiate Church led by Amauri Guillen, Project Manager at Helpern Architects. The firm is completing a two-year, partial restoration and extensive renovation, including a new lower level chapel and meeting room, expanded columbarium, structural reinforcement and replacement of the sanctuary roof and repair of decorative finishes at the sanctuary interior. We also want to thank Dave Greene, Project Manager at EverGreene Architectural Arts, responsible for plaster consolidation and decorative paint restoration of the sanctuary.

Thanks to our colleagues at Marble Collegiate Church too for their help in organizing the tour, especially Gayle F. Robinson, COO of Church Administration.

Circle tours go behind-the-scenes of some of New York’s most interesting historic properties. Some tours require hard hats to visit projects during restoration, while others showcase completed restorations of commercial buildings, residences, museums, churches, and synagogues. On occasion, conservators, engineers, and craftspeople open their studios to our Circle members.
